![]() Using your Cameras Scene Modes The "scene" modes that are a feature of your digital camera can help give your images that extra something they are missing. Using these modes can help your photography quite a bit. These modes allow the novice user to create an effect without having the technical knowledge of how the camera acually does it. In the examples below I have shown what the difference is between the "Landscape" and "Portrait" modes. |

Quite simply put the "Landscape" mode will make as much of the image in focus as possible from foreground to background. The "Portrait" mode will isolate your subject to make them clearly in focus while allowing the background tor fade out of focus. This effect will help make your subject stand out in your images.
